Does StatementDeck work with both digital and scanned PDF bank statements?
Yes. You can upload native text PDFs downloaded from online banking as well as scanned paper statements up to 20 MB and 30 pages per file.
How does the balance reconciliation check work?
For each statement, StatementDeck verifies that opening balance + total credits − total debits equals the closing balance (±$0.01) and checks printed running balances row by row.
What if the totals don't match?
You see the totals check before you pay. If the totals don't match, we show the difference and the first row where the running balance breaks, so you can check it against your PDF before deciding.
Are my PDF bank statements kept on your servers?
No. Your PDF statements are processed in memory solely to extract your transaction table and verify balances. We never store your uploaded PDFs or exported spreadsheets on our servers, and your files are never shared or used to train AI models.
What spreadsheet formats are included when I unlock my download?
Each unlock includes three files: an Excel workbook (.xlsx) with one sheet per statement plus an All transactions tab, a standard CSV, and a 3-column QuickBooks/Xero CSV.
